Agricoltura Capodarco means solidarity “towards” and “with” those who live with disadvantages. Promoters of Social Agriculture since 1978, the winery uses farming practices to foster well-being among locals and to help the underprivileged. The winery’s main objectives revolve around people and consideration for the environment. They use organic farming methods, with no added sulfites, to produce grapes and wines that preserve the environment and also respect the consumer. The 8 hectares of IGP Lazio 43-year-old vineyards are grown on volcanic soils.

ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY

The mission of the Cooperative arises from the broader sharing of the founding principles of the Capodarco Community, where the themes of welcome and solidarity towards and with those who live in disadvantaged conditions merge with constant action, oriented towards social inclusion and work integration. The daily commitment of the Cooperative is therefore realized around the achievement of two important objectives, which are the centrality of the person and respect for the environment.

The path taken, which summarizes both of these objectives, converges in social agriculture, a field that uses agricultural practices in order to generate well-being for the local community and implement socially relevant interventions aimed at people in disadvantaged conditions.

Specifically, the activities connected to social agriculture concern the socio-therapeutic and rehabilitative fields, the educational-didactic, training, job placement, territorial animation, promotion of responsible consumption, protection of the landscape heritage- environmental, etc..
